Thanks for using TicketRhythm or visiting one of our Websites. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. We take your privacy very seriously and hope you will take the time to read this policy and understand it.
TicketRhythm Limited is a company registered in England and Wales with registered company number 09646553 (“TicketRhythm”, “us”, “we”, “our”). TicketRhythm’s websites and domains, including ticketrhythm.com, and any other webpages, subdomains, country level domain variants (collectively, our “Websites”), and all of the services available on or through the Websites or otherwise provided by us (collectively, our “Services”) are offered, maintained and provided by TicketRhythm.
Through the Services, TicketRhythm provides a means for registered users who are event promoters, organisers or planners (“Promoters”) to create an event profile and other pages related to their events, to share those pages and events with registered users who are businesses, retail outlets, bars, clubs, cafes or restaurants (“Outlets”), or registered users who are individuals, sales representatives or independent agents (“Reps”) (collectively, “Sellers”), who sell tickets related to those events to users who wish to make purchases from such events (“Attendees”). We refer to Promoters, Attendees, Outlets, Reps and other visitors and browsers of the Services collectively as “Users” or “you”.
This Privacy Policy sets forth our policy with respect to information that can be associated with or which relates to a person and/or could be used to identify a person (“Personal Information”) that is collected from Users on or through the Services.
By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please do not hesitate to contact us.
When you use or interact with us through the Services, we may collect Personal Information, as further described below:
Information you voluntarily provide to us: For all Users we collect Personal Information when you voluntarily provide such information to the Services, such as when you register for access to the Services, consult with our customer service team, contact us with inquiries, communicate with us in any way or browse or use certain parts of the Services. The Personal Information we may collect includes without limitation your name, physical address, email address, phone number and other information that enables Users to be personally identified.
Information we collect automatically: When you use the Services or browse one of our Websites, we may collect technical information about your visit to our Websites, your usage of the Services, and your web browsing. That information may include your IP address, your operating system, your browser ID, your browsing activity, and other information about how you interacted with our Websites or other websites. We may collect this information as a part of log files as well as through the use of cookies or other tracking technologies.
Information we obtain from other sources: When you register for the Services or otherwise submit information to us, we may also collect or receive Personal Information from third party sources, such as third party websites.
As a Promoter we will collect additional Personal Information from you.
As an Attendee we will collect additional Personal Information from you.
We use the Personal Information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide, support, and improve the Services we offer. This includes without limitation, to provide access to or use of the Services or functionality thereof and to monitor use of such Services or functionality, to help us improve the content and functionality of the Services, to better understand our Users, to protect against, identify or address wrongdoing, to enforce our Terms of Service, to manage your account and provide you with customer service, and to generally manage the Services and our business.
To communicate with our Users and provide customer support, including to reply to any questions, suggestions, issues or complaints you have contacted us about, to provide you with any technical support you may have requested, to respond to any social media posts or other public comments you might make, whether they are directed to us or about us, our Services, Websites or other activities.
To send you System Alert messages. For example, we may inform you of temporary or permanent changes to our Services, such as planned outages, new features, version updates, releases, abuse warnings, and changes to our Privacy Policy.
We will only ever use your Personal Information for the purposes set out above. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may disclose, transfer or share your Personal Information with certain third parties without further notice to you. Your information may be disclosed to:
Event Promoters. When you purchase tickets to or register for an event through the Services, we provide the Personal Information entered on the applicable event to the Promoters of such event. You agree that we are not responsible for the actions of these Promoters, with respect to your Personal Information. It is important that you review the applicable policies of the Promoter of an event before providing Personal Information.
Service providers who process Personal Information on behalf of TicketRhythm. These companies include our marketing agencies, database service providers, backup and disaster recovery service providers, email service providers, SMS service providers and others. When we engage another company to perform such functions, we may provide them with information, including Personal Information, in connection with their performance of such functions.
Any new business partners we may have over time. For example, in the event of a corporate sale, joint venture, reorganisation, business merger or dissolution, Personal Information may be part of the transferred assets. You acknowledge and agree that any successor to or acquirer of TicketRhythm (or its assets) will continue to have the right to use your Personal Information and other information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Representatives and professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants and technology consultants to help us comply with legal, accounting, or security requirements.
Law or tax enforcement, the courts and any other government authority when requested and where it is legal to do so.
Our Websites include links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from TicketRhythm’s. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.
We take what we believe to be reasonable and appropriate measures to protect Personal Information collected via the Services from loss, misuse, unauthorized use, access, inadvertent disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the Personal Information.
We do our best to keep your information accurate and up to date, to the extent that you provide us with the information we need to do so. If your information changes (for example, if you have a new email address), then you are responsible for notifying us of those changes.
Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold, or process on behalf of a third party, any of your Personal Information. We reserve the right to charge you a small administration fee to meet our costs in honouring your legal rights, where permitted by the relevant law. We also reserve the right not to comply with any enquiries or requests we receive about the information we collect, where we may lawfully do so. For example, if we have reason to believe that a request is malicious, technically impossible, involves disproportionate effort or could be harmful to others.
We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide you with our Services. We may also retain and use your Personal Information in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, for tax or regulatory reasons or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.
The Services and our business may change from time to time. As a result, it may be necessary for us to make changes to this Privacy Policy to keep it accurate and up-to-date. We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time (collectively, “Modifications”) and you are advised to consult this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Your continued use of the Services following the effectiveness of any Modifications to this Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of those Modifications. If any Modification to this Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, you should cease accessing, browsing and otherwise using the Services.
